Publication Ethics
JUNEKA - Journal of Neoecohumanica is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Center of Human and Economic Development (CHED), Ahmad Dahlan Institute of Technology and Business, Jakarta (ITB-AD). This statement explains the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the article publication process, including authors, chief editor, Editorial Board, reviewers, and the publisher.
Editor's Responsibilities
- The JUNEKA Editor is responsible for deciding which articles are suitable for publication through the Editorial Board meeting after receiving recommendations from the reviewers' evaluations.
- In the article acceptance process, the editorial team is based on the principle of equal treatment.
- In the journal review and publication decision-making process, the editorial team does not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality, or the author's political ideology.
- The Editor and editorial team will not disclose any information about the submitted manuscripts or articles without the authors' permission.
- Unpublished manuscripts (articles) submitted will not be used for the editor's own research and will be returned directly to the authors.
Reviewer's Responsibilities Reviewers assist the editor in making editorial decisions regarding the submitted manuscripts/articles.
- Reviewers are responsible for the recommendations they make on the reviewed articles.
- Reviewing of the manuscripts is done objectively and supported by clear arguments.
- Reviewers are responsible for citations, references, and identifying any plagiarism in the reviewed article.
- Reviewers maintain the confidentiality of information for personal gain.
Author's Responsibilities
- Authors must present their articles, reflecting their thoughts or research, clearly, honestly, without plagiarism, and data manipulation.
- Plagiarism MUST BE <= 20%.
- Authors are responsible for the submitted confirmation of the article they have written.
- Authors must comply with publication requirements, such as originality of work, non-plagiarism, and the article not having been previously published in other journals or publications.
- Authors must provide references to the opinions and works of others that are cited.
- Authors must write the manuscript or article ethically, honestly, and responsibly, following the applicable scientific writing rules.
- Authors are prohibited from submitting/publishing the same article in more than one journal or publication.
- Authors do not object if the manuscript undergoes editing without changing the substance or main ideas of the writing.
- Authors must complete the provided copyright form by JUNEKA and can be downloaded.
Publisher's Responsibilities
- The Center of Human and Economic Development (CHED), Ahmad Dahlan Institute of Technology and Business, Jakarta (ITB-AD), as the publisher of the JUNEKA scientific journal, is responsible for publishing articles that have undergone the editing process, peer review, and layout in accordance with the rules of the scientific journal publication.
- The Center of Human and Economic Development (CHED), Ahmad Dahlan Institute of Technology and Business, Jakarta (ITB-AD), is responsible for ensuring academic freedom for the editors and reviewers in carrying out their respective duties.
- The Center of Human and Economic Development (CHED), Ahmad Dahlan Institute of Technology and Business, Jakarta (ITB-AD), is responsible for safeguarding privacy and protecting intellectual property rights and copyrights, as well as editorial freedom.
